Concert on March 3 In Support of Turkish/Syrian Earthquake Victims

Ars Choralis presents a concert on March 3, 2023 at 7 pm in memory of those who lost their lives and in support of the survivors of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. The unfolding disaster there is another reminder of unimaginable human suffering in the world. As part of our global community, we feel deep sympathy for the people of Turkey and Syria: many have lost their loved ones, their homes, and their very lives. For those who survived, their lives were altered beyond recognition, shattered in mere minutes. With this concert of solace, we mourn their terrible loss and lend our voices and our spirits to the worldwide effort to ease their suffering.

It is estimated that at least 8.8 million people have been affected by the earthquake, with the majority anticipated to need some form of humanitarian assistance. In lieu of tickets, donations will be accepted in support of the humanitarian recovery efforts and passed along through the Center for Disaster Philanthropy or United Nations Relief Efforts. If you would like to make a donation to support relief efforts, you may do so HERE.

Concert will be at Holy Cross/Santa Cruz Episcopal Church, 30 Pine Grove Avenue, Kingston on March 3 at 7 pm.
