Ars Choralis continues its tradition of offering concerts of unity and love on New Year’s Eve with a virtual performance of Hold On! The concert features best selling author and cofounder of Omega Institute Elizabeth Lesser with a message of hope and resilience along with newly recorded songs and readings as we usher in the new year.
Mozart in the Spring

Mozart in the Spring features Vesperae solennes de confessore by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) composed in 1780 for liturgical use in the Salzburg Cathedral. Joining Ars Choralis will be soloists Lily Arbisser (soprano), Maria Bedo (alto), Harvey Boyer (tenor) and Steven Kirby (baritone), and an orchestra of trumpets, trombones and strings. Other works include O Holy Lord R. Nathaniel Dett (1882-1943) and Vaclav Nelhybel’s (1919-1996) Praise the Lord with the Sound of Trumpet. Rounding out the program is At the River, adapted by Aaron Copland with the choral arrangement by R. Wilding White and Speak to One Another of Psalms, a Pennsylvania Dutch text translated and arranged by Jean Berger.
Summer Serenade: A Solstice Celebration of Planet Earth
June 18 & 19, 2022, 6 pm
On the lawn of the Comeau Property in Woodstock
Join us as we celebrate the wonders of the natural world through words and song as well as pay tribute to Stephen Sondheim. Music will be by composers as diverse as Samuel Barber, Paul Hindemith, traditional shaker songs, and Pete Seeger.
